Polar bears and snowflakes

This week in nursery we have been creative making sparkly snowflakes with lots of glitter and sequins. We also tried really hard to draw polar bear faces on black card with a variety of white crayons, chalk and pastels. The children have impressed us with how well they have done. Super job.

Making snowflakes and play dough cakes

This week in nursery the children have been really busy exploring different natural materials and making snowflakes. It has been really nice to see the children creating pictures with different resources. They all looked really pretty! The children have also enjoyed making cakes with the blue sparkly play Dough. They added fancy rings and candles which helped them with their recognising of numbers! Well done guys!

Making ice

Dolly made ice by putting it in the freezer. She says it will be ready in the morning. She also took some ice out of the freezer and said that if she leaves it then it will melt back to water. Fantastic investigating Dolly, very impressive!

Investigating ice

Mahlet has had a wonderful time exploring making ice at home and then finding out what happened to it as it melted. She said “where did the water go?” and “the ice is cold” as she explored! Fantastic learning Mahlet and some great thoughts, I’m super impressed!
